Benny Kuriakose has a 30 year expansive career in sustainable architecture spanning restoration, conservation, disaster rehabilitation etc.
Benny Kuriakose started practising vernacular architecture in 1985. Restoration, Conservation, Disaster Rehabilitation using repurposed and sustainable materials are some of the strengths of this versatile architect.
According to Benny, he was the fourth person in India to work with Laurie Baker - The “father of sustainable architecture”.
For his exemplary work he has own several awards including the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2016.
