Start Up establishes biogas plants in public facilities
Chennai Duo stop 5000+ tonnes of waste from reaching landfills and helps farmers
Carbon Loops founded by Ranjini and Kern with a vision of ‘Clean Cities, Fertile Fields" have set up biogas plants in hotels and colleges and collect organic waste from clients. They have prevented 5,437 tons of organic waste from ending up in landfills and have produced more than 2,400 tons of compost and given it to farmers.
Carbon Loops has established two models of solid waste management involving setting up biogas plants with hotels, manufacturing units and educational institutions.
Its list of clients include Loyola College, Stella Maris College, Mahindra World City and the Tamil Nadu Government amongst others.
