    Start up has designed water conserving nozzle for existing taps

    Chennai company comes up with innovative device that cuts water consumption by 95 percent

    The device named Qua Mist is a brass extension on taps that turns water into a fine mist, thereby reducing the gush of water that results in a lot of wastage. Regular water taps release 6 to 10 litres of water per minute while Qua Mist cuts it down to only 600 ml per minute.

    • Earth Focus has built two types of nozzles for taps that once installed, can save upto 35 L of water a day and can also sustain hard water provided by the government in Chennai.
    • According to a study, Chennai is one of the 21 Indian cities that will run out of groundwater by 2020.
