  • Bicycle Mayor & Leaders Network is a global initiative to accelerate the progress of cycling in cities and help get another one billion people onto bikes.
  • The target for each city given by BYCS - 50% of all city trips need to be made by bicycle by the year 2030.
  • There are core principles that define and guide the bicycle mayors in achieving the shared goal – namely – decisions are powered by the people through creative leadership, innovative mindsets, active local, and global perspectives, and to ultimately seek radical shifts in public behaviour.
